Photo Friday – Cedar Creek

Remember how last week, I said we were going to get up early early on Saturday and going on a photo adventure? I’m so funny, huh?

We stayed up until about 3am playing video games so…we slept in a bit! We did get to the park by about 10:30 though.

It wasn’t too cold out but I wasn’t feeling too good so we didn’t walk the whole trail they had.

And I’m such a sucker for close ups, I kept picking up leaves and twigs asking my fiance to try to hold them still. The wind was very strong and he had no gloves on, but I needed the shot! Oops.
He was a real trooper though and kept holding those leaves!

I think we probably missed a lot of the park but what we saw was really pretty.

The sun was shining off and on, it was very bright for a few minutes and then the clouds came and it went away. Kind of hard to take photos in such changing light!

Most of the snow around here is melted now (well as of Wednesday as I’m typing this), so it probably already looks really different here.

I can’t wait to go back in the spring and summer. Have a picnic by the main river, maybe jump across the creek (okay, walk), enjoy the birds. We saw lots of bunny tracks there too!
