Week 23 Update:

This week baby is the size of a large mango at just over 11 inches long and just over 1lb! (according to the babycenter app on my phone.)

We didn’t take pictures during week 22 because we were out of town. Before Week 22, baby was lying really low in my stomach still but while we were out of town one day, we woke up and felt him kicking higher! And then this whole week we’ve actually been SEEING the baby moving in my belly! It’s so cool, I love to watch it.

We had a (short) doctor visit this week and I’ve finally gained a bit of weight. Which is weird to be excited about but it’s good. I’m still down about 8lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight, however which is fine by me(and my dr)!

Week 24 Update

This week the baby is the size of corn at almost a foot long now. (according to the babycenter app on my phone)

I’ve noticed he has a pretty regular routine for when he’s active/awake now. Most often when I first wake up (which is great, lying with Scott before he has to work and seeing/feeling baby move) and then closer to bedtime/middle of the night is when I feel him jumping, kicking and rolling around the most. I’ve tried to get a few videos of him kicking and you can see some of it. Would you be interested in seeing it?

A lot of days I wish I had x-ray vision (non-harmful of course!) to see what he’s really doing in there! He seems to be all over the place and I can’t tell exactly what’s a kick and what’s a punch and he does some weird rolls. It’s cute!

I still have 2 days left of Week 24 but I’m going to post these updates every other Wednesday so I’ll be sure to update you on the in between time next post.
