I’m not usually an orange loving kind of gal but some of these pieces are just such lovely pop of color, I might be inspired to use it in some home decor some day!

To be honest, I’m really fascinated with bugs. Well mostly butterflies and moths but they still creep me out.

♥How do you feel about bugs?

I meant to blog earlier this morning. Actually I meant to blog last night and have my fiance guest post for us for the weekly tips. But I was in pain last night so I was going to write something up this morning.

And I woke up and my internet wasn’t working. It’s now 5:30pm and it just now started working! Very annoying.

So I thought I would just share a few things I’ve found on Pinterest lately!

I always feel like I’m missing something when the new year comes around…
I’m reading all these posts from the last few days (catching up on blogs) about how excited everyone is for the new year. Making resolutions, goals, hopes and dreams for the coming 365 days.

And as the time changes from one year to the next…

I feel no different.

Whatever the mental thing is that makes everyone feel different from one second to the next on new years eve has passed on over me. I’m always hoping and expecting some grand and exciting to happen on the first, ya know? Some epiphany will just jump out and hit me in the head. It happens, rarely. But never on the first.

I think I’m expecting too much out of it. I think there are other times that are more exciting than switching from one year to the next. Am I suddenly a different person just because the number(s) of the year change? No. I’m not.

Ah well.

For me, I’d rather make new goals on my birthday. That seems like a whole new year to me. It’s more exciting to turn a year older, to get new privileges, to be looked down upon less as we age (okay, really…I always feel like people take you less seriously when you’re of ‘college’ age.) To be honest, I never really feel that different after my birthday either, but it seems more appropriate in my mind, to make goals then. However, my birthday is mere days after the new year, so really…it’s all the same.
