<p>Last week, I decided I needed to do something with my hands. I haven&#8217;t been doing much art or crafts lately, I just don&#8217;t know <em>what to do</em>.<br />
So I was cleaning out these old bottles and just decided to try something new out. </p>
<p><a href="http://likeabirdblog.com/2011/02/tissue-paper-bottles-diy/1-26-11-022kendra-kantor/" rel="attachment wp-att-5418"><img src="http://likeabirdblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/1-26-11-022Kendra-Kantor.png" alt="" title="bottles 2 Kendra Kantor" width="539" height="366" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5418" /></a></p>
<p>The tissue paper I used was some kind of artist paper and it bleeds when it got wet, so color got every where. My fingers were stained for a few days! (I can&#8217;t remember the brand of the paper sorry!) </p>
<p><a href="http://likeabirdblog.com/2011/02/tissue-paper-bottles-diy/1-26-11-024kendra-kantor/" rel="attachment wp-att-5419"><img src="http://likeabirdblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/1-26-11-024Kendra-Kantor.png" alt="" title="Bottles 3 Kendra Kantor" width="415" height="338" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5419" /></a></p>
<p>I really like the green bottle. That was the first one I did, I think the colors blend the best with the green. The purple and the blue are okay&#8230;but there was a limited selection of colors for the two and I&#8217;m just not pleased. </p>
<p><a href="http://likeabirdblog.com/2011/02/tissue-paper-bottles-diy/1-26-11-027kendra-kantor/" rel="attachment wp-att-5420"><img src="http://likeabirdblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/1-26-11-027Kendra-Kantor.png" alt="" title="Bottles 4 Kendra Kantor" width="371" height="600" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5420" /></a></p>
<p>I have a bunch of other glass containers (jelly and such) and I think I&#8217;ll try out some more and use different colors and play around. I&#8217;m just experimenting and having fun! </p>
<p><a href="http://likeabirdblog.com/2011/02/tissue-paper-bottles-diy/1-26-11-029kendra-kantor/" rel="attachment wp-att-5421"><img src="http://likeabirdblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/1-26-11-029Kendra-Kantor.png" alt="" title="bottles 5 Kendra Kantor" width="399" height="600" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5421" /></a></p>
<p>I&#8217;m not really sure where I&#8217;m going to put them or what I&#8217;ll do with them yet. The tops are big enough for maybe 3 flowers only. I could stand up a few tall paint brushes, though I don&#8217;t know if I have any that tall. Any ideas for me?? </p>
<p>♥ Have you ever done any paper mache? Have you ever done anything diys using recycled bottles? Show me! </p>
