I already had one typewriter and I love love it!

So when I talked to my Mom just before my sister came to visit I was super excited when she told me she found an old typewriter at my uncles house and was giving it to me.

It’s very old and doesn’t work but it’s a beauty! And it’s very heavy and large!

For the first few weeks it was just sitting in my art room on the floor, where no one could see it.

I didn’t have anything sturdy enough or wide enough to hold it and then we re-arranged the living round and freed up my pretty chest.

I’m so glad we found somewhere to put it.

I took some close up pictures of it and I love the way these look too.

I love how gritty and rusted this beauty is.

Photo series? These would be lovely as print set hanging on a wall don’t you think?

Last weekend, my boyfriend and I worked on making the bookshelf in our living room all organized and pretty.
We have 9 bookshelves in the house. Insane.
Only 4.5 are used for books right now. 1 is for video games, 1 for movies, 2 are in my studio/art room.

So I decided I wanted the large one in the living room to be very pretty, have good books on it and look like a nice display.

Hello Tuesday, what the hell is going on?

This week has taken me by surprise.
I didn’t manage my Sunday or Monday posts this week.
Mentally, I haven’t been feeling to hot and just needed a break.
I think I need to re-work some things for my blog, maybe take it in a different direction.
I don’t blog for me, I blog for you! For the other artists in the world looking for inspiration, help, direction, someone to relate to. But “you” have disappeared. There is no one looking, no on watching, no one to talk to and no one who wants to learn.
hmm.
