The prompt for week 1 was “Beginning”.
I thought it was appropriate not only for beginning a whole new journal and project but because of the beginning that awaits me in a few weeks. Moving.
Here’s what I wrote on the page:
“This same time last year I was sitting at home, preparing to embark on what was to be a great adventure.
It was supposed to be the start of my future, my new life.
Now I sit, after deciding to abandon that future and once again start anew. A new state, a new home, new adventures.”
