“A Year of Discovering” is my 52 week journaling project. 1 prompt every week for a whole year. I intend to be real and truthful in my pages. I hope to learn more about myself, my art and the world around me as this project unfolds.
See the archives for all my prompts and journal pages for a whole year.
This week, I asked on twitter for someone to give me a number between 1 and 401 (that’s how many prompts I have written up for myself. A lot, I know).
And Cat Storey from Sea, Sky, Stone said 377!
The prompt for week 7 is “Hold on”.

“Today, I feel happy, so in love and so loved I just want to hold on and never let go.”
I started this page yesterday. I did the background and had certain words floating through my head. I thought I knew what I was going to write down. Something not so upbeat, something along the same lines as I have been. But today changed my mind. I had a really good day today and, while unfortunately it had nothing to do with art, it changed what I put down on this page. Anyways, that’s all. It changed, I like it.
