On Wednesday, I did an impromptu self portrait shoot. I have no idea why. I just realized I haven’t taken pictures of myself in a while.
Most of the “regular” portraits didn’t turn out, at all…but the ones that did I am very pleased with!
I was editing and realized I don’t really look like myself. I also realized…I don’t like my full face, I like it in pieces. That’s probably really weird!

And because there were so many, I decided to put them into a little mosaic:
Not only did I enjoy the photos that came out, it seemed to turn into it’s own little series which I love. Yay for good photoshoots!
Now I’m jonesing for some models though. (btw, firefox doesn’t know what jonesing is and also, I almost never use that word..sounds weird.)

I really want some pictures taken – like professional head shot (I can’t type that without giggling and thinking BOOM! HEADSHOT!) type pictures. I REALLY want you to take them. It bothers me that you and your incredible talent are so far away!

Taking pictures of myself is probably one of my favorite things to do.
