Every Saturday is date day around here. We make a point to spend lots of time together. Going out to dinner, a movie, doing a puzzle (We’re on our third), going to a park.
This past Saturday, we went for a picnic and I took some photos.
Since I decided to take a break from school, I really haven’t been picking up my camera with the intent of making a real photograph.
Yes I’ve been photographing my art and little things, mainly with Photo Fridays in mind.
But the last few days I’ve been feeling like I really want to go do some photographing.
I want to photograph nature, the changing colors, the beauty of it.
I loved these sheep, and I loved photographing them. It was a new side of nature.
I want to photograph nature more again. I miss it.

When I was living back home in Illinois, I used to get up in the wee hours of the morning and go to various parks, state forests, lakes, rivers etc and just take pictures for the joy of it.
I’m living in a new place, and while I’ve been to several parks and such in the area, I haven’t been in the morning and I haven’t gone to any in a while with the intent to take photos.
I think I’ll try to go out this weekend.
I think you should do something for you this weekend too. Something creative you haven’t done/practiced in a while, something you miss. Something you enjoy.
