I thought it might be fun to do my Photo Friday posts as updates on my week/my life as well from now on. I love the direction my blog is taking but aside from my bi-weekly baby bump posts, I don’t update on my general life as much anymore (not that anything too exciting ever happens) but I thought it would be nice to just write a few things each week along with showing my photos.
We are officially all moved in to my parents house now! We had to take 3 trips from Pennsylvania to Illinois and it was awful. I refuse to ever move again I think, or next time we’re hiring movers! But we’re here now and slowly getting more settled in. We are using my old bedroom and a bedroom in the basement as our separate living spaces and it’s been nice. Here are a few pictures taken out of the window in the basement.
Since our cats have FIV and my moms cat doesn’t, ours live in the basement room. They’ve settled in and handled the move (and the 11 hour car ride) much better than I had hoped! They aren’t so used to the sound of a large dog barking and running around all the time nor are they that used to the sounds of nature/the suburbs but I think they are enjoying the second part at least. This window has a little ledge for them to sit on and in the Summer I know there are chipmunks in our yard and there’s several trees for birds just outside the window I think the cats will love looking at!
